Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ServerForge ("we", "us") collects when you use serverforgeapp.com and the ServerForge Discord bot (together, the "Service"), and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Discord account info. When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address. We request the identify, email, and guilds OAuth scopes; the guilds scope is what lets the builder see which of your Discord servers you have Manage Server permission on and whether our bot is already in them. We do not receive your Discord password.

Server designs. The channel, role, and settings configurations you build or import are stored so you can return to and redeploy them.

AI Studio content. Prompts you submit and the images generated from them are stored so you can access your generations; generated images are automatically deleted after their expiration window.

Payment info. Purchases (subscriptions, credits, marketplace packs) are processed by Stripe or Shopify. We store the resulting order/purchase record and amount, but never your full card number — that's handled entirely by our payment processors.

Support & feedback. If you contact support or submit in-app feedback, we store your message, your email (if given), and which page you were on, so we can help and follow up.

Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate, privacy-respecting usage statistics (e.g. page views). It doesn't use cookies or collect personally identifying data.

Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How We Use It

  • To deploy the channels, roles, and settings you design to your Discord server via the ServerForge bot
  • To generate AI assets (emotes, icons, banners, overlays) from your prompts
  • To process payments, track your plan/credits, and fulfill marketplace purchases
  • To respond to support requests and feedback
  • To send you account-related and, if you haven't opted out, occasional product-update emails
  • To keep the Service secure and diagnose problems

Third-Party Services

We share the minimum data necessary with the services that power ServerForge:

  • Discord — authentication, and the bot applying your design to your server
  • Anthropic (Claude) — powers the AI server architect and prompt writing
  • OpenAI — generates AI Studio images from your prompts
  • Stripe and Shopify — payment processing
  • Resend — delivers transactional and support emails
  • Cloudflare R2 — stores generated images and uploaded assets
  • Vercel — hosting and aggregate analytics

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Data Retention

We keep your account and server-design data for as long as your account exists. AI-generated images are automatically deleted from storage once they expire. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see below).

Your Choices

  • Unsubscribe from product-update emails via the link included in any such email
  • Revoke ServerForge's Discord access anytime in Discord under Settings → Authorized Apps
  • Remove the ServerForge bot from any server directly in that server's settings
  • Email us to request a copy of your data or to have your account deleted

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children and requires a Discord account, which itself requires users to meet Discord's minimum age requirement. We don't knowingly collect data from children under that age.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
